Maya Hall
Some of our best memories of Maya were swimming with her and playing fetch with the stick in the lake at our mountain home. We truly appreciate the love and support you have shown in this difficult time.

Kody
Hello Everyone,
My name is Kody. My favorite things were my Mom & Dad, chicken broth, a yellow ball, and the Golden Girls theme song.
I used to come to Hickory Veterinary Hospital all of the time. You may have noticed me sometimes when you visited. I liked to sit near the door and watch other cats and dogs come in with their families. The wonderful doctors and staff found out I had a problem that made me eat and drink too much. I had trouble walking and enjoying going outside in my yard to look at birds and cats.
Dr. Dobbins gave my Mom some prescribed medication and Dr. Perrone and Melody met me every Saturday so I could do physical therapy. It worked. I lost a lot of weight, and became a "star" as Melody would say.
Later I had a problem with my tongue and Dr. Brown did surgery to help me. It turned out fine and I went home to my Mom and Dad.
Dr. Trotman and Dr. Hutton helped me too, because my kidneys didn't want to work well. Sue, John, Katie, Melissa, Marcella, and all of my Hickory Family took care of me.
Later when I didn't feel well and I was so tired, and I couldn't have fun anymore, the doctors and my family said it was okay to go play with my older brother "Kiko".
He and I are playing and running in a beautiful place. I miss everyone, and my favorite things, but I wanted to thank all of my "Hickory Family" for taking excellent care of me.
Kody and his parents,
Desiree and Darryl Massey
