Stephanie Dobbins, DVM

Dr. Stephanie Dobbins has been part of the surgical team at Pennsylvania Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Associates at Hickory Veterinary Hospital since June of 1995.

She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1994 after completing her B.S. in Biochemistry at the State University of New York. Dr. Dobbins completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Auburn University and a surgical residency at Pennsylvania Specialty and Emergency Associates. She is a board eligible member of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. She is also Vet –Stem certified.

Stephanie enjoys all disciplines of surgery, including soft tissue, orthopedics and neurology. She can perform tibial tuberocity transpositions (TTA) and has completed training in tibial plateau leveling osteotomies (Slocum course) and the total hip replacement (Biometrix course) along with numerous other surgical continued education training courses.

Stephanie enjoys taekwondo, kick boxing and travelling.
