

Technicians
Owners of pets today expect superior veterinary care. To provide this service, veterinarians use the skills of licensed veterinary technicians, who perform many of the same duties for a veterinarian that a nurse would for a physician.
Veterinary technicians conduct various clinical work under the supervision of a veterinarian for different departmental needs.
Outpatient Technicians
- Run some of our laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Advise clients on preventative care
- Take patient history
- Greet Clients
Surgical Technicians
- Assist in preparations for surgical procedures (soft tissue, orthopedic, emergency and elective)
- Run laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Post operative care of patients
- Equipment care for surgery
- Discharge patients
- Dental Care
Emergency/Overnight Technicians
- Assist in surgical procedures
- Run laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Provide emergency and critical care
- Monitor patients throughout the night
- Update owners of hospitalized patients
- Provide compassionate care for Emergency patients
Inpatient Technicians
- Contact clients for follow up on treated patients.
- Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients
- Update clients on patient’ conditions
- Run laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Provide emergency/critical care
