An Important Announcement From Our New Owners
Valued clients and members of the Hickory community,
I am excited to announce that Hickory Veterinary Hospital and Hickory Pet Inn are now officially under new ownership. My wife and I have returned home to carry on the legacy – effectually transitioning Hickory into a third generation, family owned and operated practice. Hickory was founded in 1956 by my grandfather, Dr. William J. Brown. For the past 35 years, my mother, Dr. Nancy O. Brown has been at the helm. This job now falls to us. We are extremely proud to carry the torch, and excited for the opportunity to get to know you all and earn your trust as caretakers for your pets.
Our presence in the practice immediately provides an additional skilled general practitioner and emergency clinician, in Tiffany, and a board certified veterinary neurologist and neurosurgeon, in myself. This will ensure that Hickory will be able to continue as a high caliber general and emergency practice that will be equipped to provide specialty medicine and services. Our focus is to maintain a high quality practice that minimizes the gap between the client, pet, staff, and administration, which we feel that a family practice is uniquely positioned to provide.
We hope you will continue to put your faith in the Hickory family, as we will continue to strive to provide your four-legged family members with the best quality veterinary care.
See you soon!
