Meet Nancy Levin, CCRA!

 In News

We would like to congratulate Nancy Levin on achieving her certification as a canine rehabilitation assistant with Hickory Veterinary Hospital.

Nancy has a long running history with Hickory – 11 years. Her drive and passion to work in the veterinary field has afforded her the ability to assist in multiple departments. In 2016 – 2017 Nancy took on the challenge to become a canine rehab assistant. She received her CCRA from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in 2017 and she can’t be happier. Nancy loves working with our Rehab doctors Dr. Perone and Dr. Cronquist. Together they plan and execute exercises and treatments to help companion pets enjoy a happier quality of life. Nancy’s training has provided her with the ability to use therapeutic techniques to increase the function and mobility of joints and muscles.

Nancy’s previous experience was mostly in human medicine as a laboratory technician. When she had the opportunity to join a veterinary practice prior to Hickory she did not hesitate. Her passion has always been to work with companion pets. One of the loves of her life was her English Bulldog, Kaede. Her career in veterinary services soon led her to Hickory. Nancy is a versatile and valued member of our Hickory family. She is always happy to promote the importance of rehabilitation.

Rehabilitation is a great resource to help reduce pain and enhance recovery from injury, surgery, degenerative disease, age related diseases and obesity. Our rehab team is always happy to speak with companion parents about the benefits of acupuncture, laser therapy and exercise to help your pet enjoy their life.
