Surgeon (Residency trained)
Stephanie Dobbins has been part of the surgical team at Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital since June of 1995. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1994 after completing her B.S. in Biochemistry at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Dr. Dobbins completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Auburn University and a surgical residency right here at Hickory. Stephanie enjoys all disciplines of surgery.
On her free time Stephanie enjoys spending time with her son, Teddy. They have three Cornish Rex cats; Boo, Cy, and Rudy. Stephanie also enjoys Tae Kwon Do, hiking, and traveling.
