Dr. Slater completed his veterinary degree from University of Glasgow, Scotland. After graduation, he completed a small animal rotating internship at the Ontario Veterinary College (Go Gryphons!) and a diagnostic imaging internship at Washington State University (Go Cougs!). He then completed a four-year residency in diagnostic imaging at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Slater is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology, and has a passion for helping pets and their owners. He lives in Merion Station with his wife, their dog Wally, and Cats Remy and Kylo. Dr. Slater is available for outpatient ultrasound appointments at Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital.
