Few people realize how much exercise the average dog NEEDS. Lack of exercise is the #1 reason dogs are hard to handle, out of control and they end up “driving their owners crazy”. Dogs need exercise for their health and general well being.
Hickory Pet Inn’s Doggie Daycare program offers pet parents a great alternative to leaving their pet companion home alone. Once our staff has done a temperament evaluation your dog can be enrolled. First and foremost is the safety of all participants, once that is established the play can begin! At Daycare, your four-legged companion will be put into selected playgroups based on their size and temperament. They will be given every opportunity to play and interact with other dogs in their group. Every day is filled with 6 hours of stimulation, interaction and playtime, punctuated by nap and quiet time. Within their playgroups, dogs can play-wrestle, fetch balls, play tug-of-war, catch Frisbees or just plain “hang out”. Your companion will get lots of fresh air and exercise, and you will have peace of mind knowing that your pet is safe, having fun and being well cared for by our attentive staff.
