From Our Family To Yours...

Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital was founded in 1956 by William J. Brown, VMD. Three generations later, we are proudly still family owned and operated and serving the local community with excellent animal care. Grandson William J Kay Jr., VMD and wife Tiffany Kay, VMD currently own and operate the large 20+ doctor facility open 24/7 for emergencies, general practice and specialty medicine. Living close by with their sons and daughter they are closely connected to the local community.

Hickory continues to strive to provide excellent medicine and superb client care with our caring staff, state of the art equipment and fear free techniques used to treat our patients. Hickory now also offers grooming services at the Hickory Pet Inn and a separate general practice hospital located in Ambler called Hickory Veterinary Primary Care.
